The Valle del Este golf club opened in 2002 and was designed by José Canales, who integrated the course into the surrounding landscape by making use of indigenous vegetation. There is a good combination of very challenging holes, with other less strenuous holes.

The Valle del Este golf course design and setting make it quite spectacular. The tees are particularly noteworthy, positioned on small raised platforms surrounded by volcanic rock. The, fairways are wide and there are a lot of large sand bunkers on the course as well as 3 lakes and several waterfalls.

All in all, Valle del Este golf course is a real challenge for players of all levels. Located 40 km north of Almeria airport, 10 minutes from the beaches of Vera, Mojacar and Garrucha and an hour from the cities of Almeria and Murcia.
