Set at 1000 metres above see level, next to protected woodland, Lauro Golf course offers some incredible views of the surrounding countryside: with the Mediterranean to the south and Africa to the North.

The tree-lined fairways and numerous water hazards will have you planning your shots carefully, but Lauro golf course is never overly demanding. Golfers can enjoy the original 18 holes, and also try out the 9 recently added ones.

Lauro 27 Golf, which has its origins in the centre of a natural environment, has twenty-seven holes to be combined 9 plus 9, all par 72. From it’s early holes, the Lauro Golf course’s design is based on respect for the environment that surrounds it, not only maintaining every original centennial holm oak but also planting thousands of young new trees, most of them Andalusian indigenous species.

Nature abounds at Lauro Golf with a high number of trees and fourteen lakes on the course, designed by Folco Nardi, who made it technical but not difficult. Good concentration and the right choice of club to play is the way to a good score.

The Lauro Golf club house is located in an ancient Andalusian building, Cortijo El Paredón, which has an excellent restaurant, changing rooms, pro-shop and office, besides the swimming-pool and paddle-tennis court in the surroundings. But the best of the cortijo is its wonderful patio, in the shadow of a huge centennial rubber plant where players can relax after a great round of golf.
