El Plantio golf course is only 3km away from the city of Alicante, but the surrounding countryside, exceptional design, lush fairways and abundant vegetation make for exceptionally tranquil setting.

The fairways are generally broad and flat, and the greens ample. Still this can at times be a challenging course due to the sometimes undulating terrain, abundance of vegetation and the water hazards provided by the two lakes.
 
There is also an additional nine hole golf course, making El Plantio Golf the only club in the region to feature two separate courses.
