With its excellent vareiety of holes, the course is a pleasure to play, whatever one’s handicap level. It demands both skill and tacticall play and is acknowleged both locally and internationally as one of Portugal’s best constructed layouts.

Belas Golf Club extends over 6,128 metres for a par 72 and the course meanders in amongst the hills. There are two holes that are particularly notable for their beauty and their challenging qualities: the second hole, a par 5 called "Augusta" was built in homage to the 13 th hole of the famous course where the US Masters tournament takes place; hole number 18, a memorable par 4 final hole, was christened the "Big Hole" because of the second shot that players must take makes some 180 meters from the green, which is well protected by a fearsome lake.

Belas Clube de Campo is located within the limits of the Sintra town council area, between the town of Belas and Vale de Lobos area, about a 20-minute drive from the centre of Lisbon and the tourist resorts of Estoril, Sintra and Cascais.
